Hospital Activity Data Analyser (HADA)
HADA is a PC program which links data extracted from a hospital's patient admission system (PAS) and data from the UK's national Hospital Episode Statistics (HES). This allows the analysis of past performance and provides input data for the DGHPSim suite of models.HADA can be used in a stand-alone manner to understand past performance or, linked to DGHPSim, to provide data in a suitable form for the models. It has two main functions;
1)PAS Analysis
- Displaying statistics of bed occupancy and Length of Stay (LoS), retrospectively.
- Calculating transition probabilities between hospital's wards/units.
- Displaying individual patient pathways
- Displaying statistics of waiting times in Referral-To-Treatment (RTT) patient journey
- Calculating transition probabilities between patients' states in RTT
